How do these injections actually work?

Wegovy, Mounjaro and Ozempic are once-weekly GLP-1 injections. They reduce appetite and cravings and slow how quickly your stomach empties, so you feel full sooner and for longer. They work best alongside changes to how you eat and move.

What is the difference between Wegovy, Mounjaro and Ozempic?

Wegovy and Ozempic contain semaglutide; Mounjaro contains tirzepatide, which acts on two appetite hormones instead of one. Wegovy is licensed for weight management, Ozempic for type 2 diabetes, and Mounjaro for both. We help you and your prescriber choose what suits you.

What results can I expect?

Results vary from person to person and depend on the medicine, the dose and the changes you make alongside it. We set realistic expectations at your consultation rather than promising a number we cannot guarantee.

Are there side effects?

The most common are mild and settle over time, such as nausea or changes to digestion, especially as the dose increases. We talk you through what to expect and exactly when to get in touch with us or your GP.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, these are prescription-only medicines. Talk to your GP or an online doctor, and we handle the dispensing, the safety checks and your ongoing support.
